Gwen Wong

Gwen graduated from University of Georgia and Portfolio Center but her painting career did not begin until she started painting her Weimaraner, Bella. This began the series of paintings that would explore the canine as a surrogate human form and celebrate their relationship that lasted over thirteen years. These paintings are represented by Linstrum + Matre Artworks in Atlanta, Georgia.

Over the course of time, Gwen decided to explore the genre of portraiture. She began painting animal portraits two years ago, after completing her first actual portrait of Bella sleeping. This painting has since inspired her to take commissions.
